You know how there are rules and regulations for things? Uh huh, whatever. For instance the yellow sign that says no talking on the phone while you are at the circulation desk, that really means no talking while you here. It's nice that you recognize me as 'Hi, no not you, who? oh that's just the library lady trying to tell me something, oh my gosh! she did what to her husband!' But I'd really rather prefer you hang up and have a real conversation with me. Secondly, the sign on the door that says to finish all food and drinks before you enter means no food or drink in the building, unlike the man asking me about computers with a coffee cup in this hand or the lady with a bag of cheese asking me to look up a fork manufacturing company. Cheese, really???
How about getting a card before you're ready to check out and holding up everyone behind you. Ok, so that's not really a rule, but you could be courteous to those behind you and fill it out at a table instead of leaning over 3/4 of the circulation desk with your stuff sprawled around you and your kid screaming in the floor.
